I am a teacher.
I am proud to be a part of the profession that creates all other professions.
Often, I have to repeat those words to myself. Roll them around in my mouth for a bit and let them slide off my tongue. Breathe them in and then out again.

Let them settle into my brain, my soul, my heart.
Especially my heart.
I am proud to be a part of a job that doesn’t feel like a job. Where every day, no matter how I am feeling, I have students that are happy to see me and love that I am there.
I am proud to have colleagues who inspire me every day to be a better teacher.
I am proud to be part of something nobody can possibly understand until they set foot in a classroom and teach. No theory, textbook or study can truly define what teachers do each day to make an impact.
It is a wonderful experience for me to teach English. I enjoy engaging and motivating pupils to learn a foreign language helping them to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of a different language and culture.
I am proud to be on this journey with my fellow teachers because together we have the priceless opportunity to impact, influence and inspire the future of our world.
I am adamant about the fact that teaching is the best career on earth, because it is so fulfilling.
Teaching is the best job. I enjoy every bit of my job. It has its ups and downs but on the whole it’s fulfilling when you help youngsters to leave school with decent grades and know they have a future.
